The highlight of the cultural program was the rendition of the central theme song ‘Amar Bhaiyer Rokte Rangano’ in six languages – Bengali, English, French, Hausa, Yoruba, and Igbo (the three major Nigerian local languages). Other contents of the program included poetry recitation from Poet Al Mahmud, from Poet Rudro Mohammad Zahidul, a speech on UNESCO’s declaration on International Mother Language Day, rendition of songs Salam Salam Hajar Salam and Ami Banglai Gan Gai.
- Other performances included a solo dance with Ora Amar Mukher Bhasha Kaira Nite Chay. A poetry and musical performance were also rendered on the life of a wanderer. Furthermore, there was a performance by Nigerian children singing a Spanish song. At the end, guests were hosted to traditional Bangladeshi cuisine.
